Ocean Safari
Lofoten features a magnificent scenery; green mountain peaks, chalk white beaches, the grand Ocean with its fishing opportunities as well as the the small onshore fishing communities. This is coastal nature at its best, and many of those who have visited this grand area often returns. Along this row of beautiful islands, it is possible to explore the wild by joining a safari, e.g. killer whale photography, sightseeing and ocean fishing.
Deep Sea Rafting
If you are up for something faster, then deep sea rafting between the Lofoten shores is definitely the choice for you. The landscape enables you to experience a totally different feeling of speed here, compared to other places. Being part of the elements in a stiff breeze will most certainly make your adrenalin rise. Try deep sea rafting while you are visiting Kremmervika Rorbuer. It is an experience that you will not forget.
Surfing
The Arctic Surf of Lofoten mainly takes place at Unstad close to Vestvågøy. Unstad has a 200-metre white beach with big rolling stones on each side. The bay turns towards West, and is protected on both sides by tall mountains. The surf at Unstad works best on swells from Southeast to North, and works well on winds coming from either East or South.
