25. mars pub (English translation: The 25th of March Pub) is the most popular meeting place in Kræmmervika. The pub is named after "Den store brennevinsdagen" (English translation: "The Big Liquor Day") which was celebrated on the 25th of March according to old Lofot-traditions.On this particular day all the fishermen in the area got together for a party, partly because they had come to a point in the fishing season where they had earned enough money to afford a party. Needless to say that they were drinking liquor that day, a lot of liquor....
25. mars pub is attached to the reseption area, and are connected to a TV-room and another pub, which is called ”Bolle Bua Bar”. Each night, all year around we light the candles, and the bar is the place where our guests meet the local people to have a nice chat by the fireplace.
25. mars pub has all rights reserved and a capacity to seat 60 people. The pub also serves snacks/light meals if you feel a little hungry.
