Being backpackers ourselves, we know that renting a full cabin on a budget can be tough … so we are happy to announce that after years of pandemic and changes in the world, our first hostel cabin is now open! Here in one of these rustic fishermen’s cabins over the harbour in Ballstad, we have two bunk beds in a 4-person mixed dorm room, as well as two single beds in a loft space for you to choose from. There is a shared bathroom with shower to remove the dust and dirt from you days out and about exploring, as well as a simple kitchen for fix up some grub to keep you going. And when you just want to chill, read a book or meet your fellow traveller, kick back in the common room or park yourself in front of the fireplace on a cold winter’s night whilst waiting for the Northern Lights to do their magic. If you still need to get outside, the docks are right out the door, with picnic tables ready for you to use for an outside meal or gathering table with new friends.
